Program Set-up and Check-List
The following a checklist for room/program set-up – this guarantees a successful learning environment and program for everyone involved:
Flip Chart on Easel
(25” x 30” or larger)
“Post-it” type preferred but not necessary
For larger groups of 60-75
or more, multiple flip charts and a Lavalier Mic may be required! .
Whiteboard (large)
(5’ w x 3’ 6” h or larger)
This is classroom style teaching where the students are used in the examples and some reference back is necessary.

Please have this provided onsite:

Room Set-up

-
Remove Wi-Fi Passcode Signage from room – Multi-tasking distracts the entire class and access to the internet is not required for this session.
-
Remove seats in back row(s) – This will encourage the participants to sit up front and participate in the program. If the room fills, it is easy to add the chairs back – but typical attrition rates rarely require this.
-
Please set Thermostat for 68 degrees or lower – room heats with attendance and the cooler environment makes for more alert students
-
Lighting on High throughout room – a brightly lit room makes for a better learning environment
-
Please have a small table in front for Instructor to set reference materials
-
If this is an offsite location, please make sure that this room is separate and quiet – (not subject to noise distractions) – a loud back noise makes teaching difficult for the instructor to be heard
